The River Community Church strives to provide quality child care and Biblical training in order to assist children in becoming devoted followers of Jesus Christ. Age appropriate curriculum is provided for all age groups as well as snacks, Bible studies, games, crafts and other activities.

The River Community Church strives to provide quality child care and Biblical training in order to assist children in becoming devoted followers of Jesus Christ. Age appropriate curriculum is provided for all age groups as well as snacks, Bible studies, games, crafts and other activities.
All volunteer workers have had a complete background check.
The classes are broken down in the following categories:
“Precious Puddles”
Nursery –Infants to 2 years old
Nursery –Infants to 2 years old
As you enter The River, feel free to drop off your infants or toddlers in our nursery. Register your child at the Registration table in the lobby and record any allergies or special information. At this time a number will be assigned to your child and you will receive a copy of that number. (In case of emergency, your child's number will appear on the screen to the left of the stage in the Worship Center.) Toddlers will receive an appropriate snack and apple juice along with playtime, music and periodic toddler crafts. Babies will receive loving care, playtime and will be given snacks or drinks that parents have brought for them.
“Splash Zone”Splash Zone is a special designed class for children ages 3 and 4 (potty trained please.) As you enter our lobby, please check your child in at the Registration Table. This class currently remains in the service until the "Greeting" when they are dismissed to their class. These children have a less structured lesson with plenty of play time and activities. They will learn a Bible story with a corresponding craft and games. When weather permits, they may be taken outside to enjoy the sunshine and playground. Snacks are provided, so make sure that you alert our teachers if your child has any food allergies or special needs at the time you check them in.
“The Rapids"
The Rapids (K-4th) class is dismissed during the greeting portion of our service. THe students enjoy a snack, Bible lessons, age appropriate crafts, games and other activities through the "Praise Factory" curriculum. This curriculum is designed to lead the children in discovering the wonders of God, help them understand what it means to know God, live as a Christian and live joyful lives, pleasing to God. As you enter our lobby, please check your "Rapids" age child in at the Registration Table and notify us of any allergies or special needs.
"The Falls”
The Falls class is designed for Preteens (5th & 6th grades). This class meets 3 Sundays a month and is dismissed during the greeting portion of our service along with the Splash Zone and Rapids classes. The Preteens will discover what the Bible says and be discipled in their relationships with Jesus Christ. Our Preteen ministry includes a "Frist Friday" event once a month. On the Sunday after the "First Friday" event, the Preteens are invited to attend the worship service as well as on the 5th Sunday of the month. The children are "registered" in their class, so if they ahve any special needs, please notify their teacher when they are dismissed to class.
All of the children are encouraged to bring an offering and place it in the appropriate bucket labeled “boys” or “girls” as they are dismissed to their classes. The children enjoy the competition as they collect money for various causes such as the Easter and Christmas missions offerings."The Falls”

In order to assure the safety of your child, all children will be held in the classroom after the service until their parent or guardian comes to pick them up. Please plan to pick up your child immediately after the service.
